Bukirk is an Award Wining accommodation site that provides bespoke luxury accommodation, nestled in the hills of the Clare Valley. Offering five Belle Tents each with their own private ensuite, deck and unique styling deliver the ultimate glamping experience situated on 42 acres of farmland.
In addition there are three Fancy Coops (Cabins), showcasing the beauty of natural and raw materials, finished with comfortable and stylish furnishings and are self-contained. One of the Coops “Cluckingham Palace” is fully accessible for those with mobility issues or disabilities.
Further complementing the offering is a well-appointed communal kitchen and dining space for guests to relax and socialise.
Bukirk Glamping has been designed as a romantic or group getaway for adults without kids and is nestled in the hills of the Clare Valley, only a 5 min drive to Clare Wineries, Shops & Cafe’s.
Each Tent and Fancy Coops has its own Deck for you to enjoy your morning coffee, or sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, whilst watching the spectacular Sunrise and Sunsets over the rolling hills.
For your enjoyment in the warmer months is a heated saltwater swimming pool with another communal area for you to escape the warm sun and relax.
Last but not least in the cooler months there is a Fire Pit for you to gather around, tell stories, roast complimentary marshmallows and soak up the magnificent unobstructed sky show.
Why Bukirk?
Say “Bukirk” out loud and fast… do you sound like a chook (chicken)?
I didn’t want a generic name such as Alison’s Glamping, I wanted something quirky and fun that incorporated my nickname “Chook”, hence Bukirk Glamping.
To tie in with the name I have named each tent after a breed of chicken.

Five-star wineries are scattered throughout the picturesque Clare Valley and not to mention breweries as well. The Clare Valley is also home to an emerging gourmet food scene with a number of excellent dining options. If wine and beer aren’t your thing, there are plenty of historic places to see and explore.

What Is Glamping?
Glamping, short for Glamorous Camping and also known as Luxury Camping, is designed for those of us who love the idea of camping and getting back to nature, but aren’t fond of sleeping on the cold hard ground and leaving a ‘real’ toilet and shower behind.
Glamping is a luxury experience under canvas, which focuses on the environment, respecting nature and keeping it high quality.
It is nothing like a traditional camping experience, as it is luxurious and completely effortless.
The Tents
The tents are large and spacious, with a front and rear door along with two windows, one on each side. They are furnished to a very high standard and each have their own luxury style. Find the one that suits you.
